On top of it all, it is animated better than most of its contemporaries and sounds like that too. It treats a lot of issues with the utmost respect and reverence they deserve and doesn’t intend to make any waves. It is also a very emotionally intense experience, with character deaths and tragedies galore. It is a very beginner-friendly show that doesn’t assume you know anything about the medium to understand the story being told. It tries to cater to everyone, from an action-loving shonen audience easily digestible show despite it having a lot of gore and violence to a casual quip-comedy fan. The series is expertly made to attract as many eyes to it as possible. The word that describes Demon Slayer best is “competent”.
